I live about five miles north of downtown Seattle with wife Martha and too many cats.

I have outlived my day job, so I now write historical fiction having something to do with bad behavior in the Mediterranean, 1801. My protagonist is part Holmes, part Flashman, and all Jack Clark.

I occasionally participate in the making of original radio dramas by writing, acting, and infrequently directing.

Oh, and cooking. Did I mention cooking? Today’s pasta sauce is a win!

In my spare time I explore the varieties of secular experience.
